Paneer is a slow digestive, responsible for reducing your appetite, making sure you feel full and satiated for longer periods. Paneer contains essential calcium, magnesium, iron and healthy fat content that allows you to tone your body. Often, vegetarians struggle with what to eat for protein sources but paneer dissolves those worries completely.

Paneer bhurji

  • Add citric acid to 1 litre of milk just as it is boiling.
  • Once the milk begins to release water, use a sieve and drain the bath.
  • Grind 2 onions, 3 green chillies and 1 tomato together.
  • Put this mixture into a pan with some oil.
  • Mix this well and add ½ tablespoons of spices such as garam masala, turmeric, cumin, red chilli, cinnamon, dhaniya, and black pepper for taste.
  • Finally add the paneer and add half a cup of distilled water to the mixture.
  • You can garnish this dish if you desire and serve with hot roti or paratha.

This dish will take around 20 minutes to prepare.

Besan and paneer chilla

  • You will need 1 cup of besan, 1 chopped onion, 3 green chillies, a few leaves of spinach, ½ a teaspoon of coriander, ½ a teaspoon of black pepper, ½ a teaspoon of chilli powder, ½ a cup of dhaniya powder, and ½ a cup of paneer.
  • Add one cup of water to this batter and make sure it has a semi-liquid consistency.
  • Pour some of this mixture into a non-stick pan, along with a few drops of oil.
  • Wait for it to cook till there is a brownish texture on the bottom.
  • Grate some more paneer on top of it and consume it with spicy ketchup for added taste.

Paneer and corn

  • Take 2 teaspoons of olive oil and add half a teaspoon of cumin seeds into a pan till they begin to dance.
  • Add 1 chopped onion, 350 grams of corn, 1 green chilli, ½ a teaspoon of salt, ½ a teaspoon of black pepper and 1 capsicum to the mix.
  • Then add ½ a kg of paneer into this blend and let it cook for about 3 minutes on a low flame.

This dish will take about 10 minutes to prepare

Paneer tikka

  • Marinate cubes of paneer in curd, chilli powder, ginger garlic paste, chaat masala, besan, and garam masala.
  • You can also add one slice of onion and capsicum if you like.
  • Smear a non-stick pan with olive oil and put the paneer cubes inside and let it marinate for about 5 minutes.

  • 1⁄2 cup of breadcrumbs
  • 2 diced tomatoes
  • 1⁄4 sliced capsicum

  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons of lemon juice
  • chilli, basil, garlic, salt and pepper

This dish will take around 5 minutes to prepare.

Paneer toast

Combine the following ingredients:

  • 1 cup of mashed paneer
  • 2 chopped tomatoes
  • 1⁄4 sliced capsicum
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • chilli flakes, garlic, salt and pepper
  • basil leaves

Toss the above mentioned ingredients together with butter in a saucepan. Mix it well and add it to a roasted toast.

Pudina Paneer Tikki

Phase 1: Fried paneer with 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan until it turns orange. With cornflour paste, cover the paneer.

Phase 2: Sprinkle on it the flour, the green chillies, the mint paste and the chaat masala. Paneer should have a mint-paste and chaat masala coating.

Phase 3: Serve it hot as a starter and add onion rings for a nice taste as well.

Paneer matar biryani

  • Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a pan and add chopped onions and cook it till it becomes orange.
  • Add ginger garlic paste, tomato pulp and green chillies.
  • Then add the spices of your choice such as cumin, coriander, salt, turmeric, pepper, and red chilli powder.
  • Blend this mixture well for about 3-4 minutes.
  • Add 1 cup of distilled, boiling water to the dish and add green peas.
  • Cook some rice (preferably brown) in a jar with sliced onion separately.
  • Spread all the layers on top of one another and consume it when it's hot.

This dish will take around 30 minutes to prepare.

Palak paneer

  • Make sure to blanch the paneer and puree it, beforehand
  • Once the spinach is boiled, add cold water to it so its colour remains intact.
  • For the curry, add some tomatoes, onions, ginger and garlic to taste into the puree.
  • You can consume this either with rice or roti. It’s your choice. to the curry.
